These artworks are from a series called, “On the Edge of Where I Live”. These paintings describe a section of land adjacent to where I live in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver that is slated for development. It is a pristine area of old growth forest situated within a residential area. I was inspired to document this dense, overgrown and unique habitat, and portray these landscapes through my art, to preserve the images long after they are gone.
